La Ley del Desierto

La Ley del Desierto

Born at the crossroads of ‘70s punk and the Gothic wave that dominated the first half of the ’80s, Paralisis Permanente will always be a band that could have been more than it was. The death of Eduardo Benavente shortly after the release of their debut album ended one of the great promises of Spanish rock. Still, nothing in El Acto is tentative or provisional. The songs reflect a fully developed musical personality, and an instrumental fierceness that reaches vitriolic heights with “Adictos a la Lujuria” and “Quiero Ser Tu Perro”, the latter a cover of The Stooges “I Wanna Be Your Dog”.
