Album Review

Emilie Autumn's Enchant is a sprawling and mystical work of new age chamber music, trip-hop baroque, and experimental space pop. The Malibu multi-instrumentalist may be a little heady for the average rock fan, but her range is impressive, from the TLC-gone-Renaissance cut "How Strange," to the medieval electro-pop of "Rapunzel," and the moody, downright Elton John-esque piano ballad "Ever."
