Their press release calls My So Called Knife "a world where the disenchanted youth of the Midwest have taken solace." Although there is an abundance of similar bands providing the same service — via detuned, aggro-fied guitar riffs, Korn-styled dysfunction, and angst-ridden lyrics — Lollipop Lust Kill may still find a home in the record collections of those who enjoy Disturbed, Slipknot, Sevendust, and the like. Includes a pissed-off version of Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus."
