This two-disc Australian import features 36 tracks culled largely from the legendary singer/songwriter's lucrative RCA years. Like 2007's similarly constructed (and infinitely easier to find) Essential John Denver, Sunshine on My Shoulders: The Best of John Denver covers nearly all of the bases, boasting most of the early radio hits like "Take Me Home, Country Roads," "Rocky Mountain High," "Annie's Song," and "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" as well as later successes like "Dreamland Express" and "Starwood in Aspen."
