A cornerstone of the Native Tongues tradition, the album combines socially conscious Afrocentrism, as on positive, funk-flecked tunes like "Straight Out the Jungle" and "Black Is Black", with playful puppy-love anthems like “Behind the Bush” and goofy schoolyard jokes like “Jimbrowski”. Just because the Brothers were smart doesn't mean they had to be serious.
