Nice, but it doesnt have any sense on older series i think. It would be the best if can automatic launch with the screen lock, not like an app.

As you said, the app is meant to be used with the latest iPhone, which has an OLED display and should not display an high contrast fixed-image for too long; unfortunately, it's not possible for an app to change system's elements like the lock screen, so the only way to implement an always on clock is with a dedicated app
