About Age of Mirrors

Age of Mirrors was formed in 1985 by singer and guitarist Bob Bryden, aka Simon De Beaupre. Bryden brought in Michael Allen Guild to serve as drummer for the band. Guild had worked with Bryden in an earlier group called Benzene Jag. That group, in a way, transformed itself into Age of Mirrors in 1985, though it lost a few members in the middle of the metamorphosis. During that same year, Age of Mirrors released its debut album, Mirage. In 1987, the group completed a couple more offerings for fans, then things fell a part. Bryden didn't leave his music after the demise of Age of Mirrors. During the next several years he recorded a few solo albums of his own, as well as working with other bands. ~ Charlotte Dillon
