Mexican singer/songwriter and actor Benny (born Benny Ibarra de Llano), son of rock & roll performer Benny Ibarra, made his live debut on April 30, 1981, soon playing a role in the musical Jesus Christ Superstar along with his mother, Julissa de Llano Macedo, and joining a popular children-oriented act called Timbiriche. After studying in the U.S., Benny decided to embark on his own solo career; he celebrated his 20th anniversary as a recording/performing artist with the release of Todo o Nada in 2001. ~ Drago Bonacich
