In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I can remember singing at get-togethers for family. One of my fondest memories is being around 6 and imagining each room in the house was a gigantic stage where I would belt out “Rhinestone Cowboy” to the delight and amusement of family and friends. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Wilco, Summerteeth I just love Jeff Tweedy's voice, it's wistful, haunting & I lose myself in his music. There are hints of other era's I can hear, here, there & it's captivating. He's also an incredible writer! I am reading his book right now! "How To Write One Song." Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Shape I'm In” It's my first heartache song from one of the worst kind of betrayals. It's also brushed with perhaps fantasy, revenge murder. "I like the thought of only you, standing on a ledge, nothing to stop the slightest touch, no trading consequence." What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I played a Lymphoma benefit in Vancouver, BC. Cancer touches each of us, including myself & I really wanted to be involved. I shared the stage with talented people! Mike Reno from Loverboy, Shari Ulrich, Taylor James to name a few. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to write and record a song with Chris Stapleton, Jeff Tweedy, Pink, Blake Shelton, Linda Perry & Blue Rodeo. That would be heaven for me.
