Winning the French version of the amateur singer contest Pop Idol gave Jonatan Cerrada a lot of television exposure and the opportunity to record his debut, Siempre 23. In 2004 his song "A Chaque Pas" was France's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest. ~ David Jeffries
