About Kane

Dutch alternative rock band Kane have experienced some major roster shake-ups, but core members Dinand Woesthoff (vocals) and Dennis van Leeuwen (guitar) have remained true to the band's goals and achieved considerable success. Formed in The Hague in 1998, Kane released their first single, "Where Do I Go Now," in August of 1999. The single broke through to the Top 30 on the Dutch charts, and Kane's successful streak of hit singles was off and running. Most of the band's albums released over the years would find their way to the Top Five. Kane also won a number of Edison Awards and an MTV Europe Award for Best Dutch Band. One of their biggest singles, "Rain Down on Me," was remixed by DJ Tiësto in 2004. ~ Chris True
