Born in Talavera de la Reina, Spain in 1991, María Aguado received a musical education from her early childhood, eventually completing her training at Madrid's Academia del Arte, where she studied vocal technique for two years. Soon after graduation, Aguado released Tiempo al Tiempo, her 2010 debut album, at age 18. Meticulously produced by Igor Marcus and a team of professional songwriters, this accomplished collection of mainstream pop and ballads enjoyed excellent sales. A second album, Me Toca a Mí, appeared in early 2012, designed to strengthen Aguado's claim to pop stardom in Spain in the near future. ~ Mariano Prunes
