Since 1996's 10 Songs, Ramona the Pest has been independently releasing albums of their Pixies-influenced alternative rock. A popular live band in the San Francisco area, Ramona the Pest is made up of songwriter/vocalist Valerie Esway, guitarist Lucio Menegon, and drummer/multi-instrumentalist Pat Spurgeon. They released their third full length album, Birds, Bugs, Bones, in the fall of 2001 and continued to support themselves through touring the Southwest rock circuit. ~ Bradley Torreano
