About Should

Austin, Texas shoegaze/dream pop group Should were formed in the early '90s by brothers Marc and Eric Ostermeier, and Tanya Maus. Their first EP, A Folding Sieve, a six-song record released under the shiFT moniker on the ND label, came out in 1995 and was followed in 1997 by the "Own Two Feet" 7”. Their second album, Feed Like Fishes, was released in 1998 by the Minneapolis-based Words on Music label. The band ceased recording for a time, then resurfaced in 2010 as a duo minus Eric Ostermeier and released a new album, Like a Fire Without Sound, for Words on Music. ~ Tim Sendra
