Album Review

Spanish vocalists Joaquín Sabina, Javier Krahe, and Alberto Pérez team up with guitarist Antonio Sánchez on the album La Mandrágora. Released in 1981, the 13-song classic finds Krahe interpreting a couple of songs by French singer/songwriting legend Georges Brassens: "Marieta" and "La Tormenta." The most celebrated vocalist of the trio, Sabina shines on the stand-out song "Pongamos Que Hablo de Madrid."
