Debut album from the latest in a string of British bands in thrall to the smooth soul-pop-funk hybrid that dominated airwaves in the 1970s. Sounding like a cross between Leo Sayer, Cat Stevens, Steve Winwood, and Hall & Oates, but with super-slick postmodern production courtesy of Xenomania's Brian Higgins (Girls Aloud, Alesha Dixon, Gabriella Cilmi), the band groove gently while gruff-voiced frontman Alex Vargas delivers lascivious tales, as in the single "Sweat (Until the Morning).", Rovi

I went to see this band when they were supporting The Script at their 5 night stand in London and they were brilliant live. Buy the album if you like The Script / The Blizzards

Norwegian metallic rockers Vagabond were formed in 1993 by vocalist Jorn Lande, guitarist Ronni Le Tekro, bassist Morten Skaget (both of them ex-T.N.T.), keyboardist Dag Stokke, and drummer Steinar Krokstad, going on to release an eponymous debut the following year before dissolving amid widespread indifference.
