Can't

Ok !! First things first a friend of mine recommend these guys to me ..Can't believe I hadn't heard of them before!! .. Usually for me I just turn off when a hear a band is from Australia apart from Nick Cave most of the stuff has been totally uninspiring , this is not the case with Angus & Julia Stone.. A great album full of haunting lyrics great musician ship ,mix of pop country bluegrass and folk also I hear an edgier Lisa Hannigan maybe even a touch of Alison Krauss from Julia Stone ( what a voice )also shades of Stephen Fretwell / Damien Rice from Angus Stone .. Stand out tracks are Draw the Sword & For You to name just two but for me all the songs are exceptionally good ,just bought the Memories of an Old Friend album also which is just as strong Check out the last song a cover of 'Your the One That I Want ( one of the best covers I've heard in a long time ), go out & buy either album or all their catalogue that's what I intend to do , I know I won't be disappointed.. It's a rare thing nowadays to find an artist or band that really make you sit up & take notice , these guys do , hidden gems
