The Best of Jennifer Holliday: The Millennium Collection gathers highlights from the Tony Award-winning singer/actress, including "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" and "I Am Changing" from the original cast album of Dreamgirls, the musical that made her a star. "This Game of Love," "Just Let Me Wait," "No Frills Love," and "New at It" are some of the other standout tracks from this compilation, which isn't quite as comprehensive as Geffen's The Best of Jennifer Holliday but is nevertheless a concise, enjoyable overview of some of her definitive moments.

Texan Jennifer Holliday gained national recognition when she had the lead in the Broadway musical Your Arm's Too Short to Box with God. The show featured her show-stealing take on "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going," which became a hit single in 1982.
