Good film

They mostly stuck to the plot which I like. The major change for Fantine and it worked. Hathaway was amazing but there will never be better for vocals than Ruthie Henshall. Jackman was great but his voice has weekend over the years. Disappointed in Barks, dead behind her eyes, and she just shouted her way through it like she did as Nancy in Oliver no emotion.

The surprise was Eddie Redmayne who sang from his toes, totally in the body not the head. The Theanadiers were weak, at times Ali G appeared.

The live singing was amazing and made it much more real however if I want to listen to les mis ill listen to one of the show recordings with the booming orchestra.

Lastly Crowe was grand, his last note I would of like him to hold it, sung beautifully till the smack

All said, it is probably the best recent adaptation of a stage musical after the horrendous Phantom. Miss Saigon next please.

Definitely worth seeing, I'm a softie but the second half wasn't that sad so you'll be fine leaving the items :)

Les Miserables

Fantastic, experience the film to perfection over and over again. Superb

It was amazing

I had high expectations for this movie but it still managed to amaze me! When it comes to the singing I was a bit disappointed with Hugh Jackman as his voice wasn't near as good as in Oklahoma! I would still highly recommend it!
