Powerful, compelling pop

This is intense and powerful pop-rock, which is compellingly fresh and interesting. The genre standout track for me is 'Another Runaway' which recalls the best of eighties 'dense rock', with a pumping and defiant beatline and a clarity of voice which makes it a certain fixture on my on-the-go. 'Love Don't Live Here' is a complex and strong offering, again serving as a catchy and fresh platform for the vocalist. 'Back of the Van' again recalls eighties' beat and basslines. Another standout is the disco-oriented 'Dusk Til Dawn', perhaps the only track where a hint of the kiwi accent is (deliciously) on display. This is simply standout music.

Great album from NZ's finest!

Just came across this album by chance and i cant stop listening to it. Not a bad song on the album!
