Big and bold, Little Mix's second album, Salute, is the perfect rallying cry. From the updated Girl Power anthem of the title track to the percussive pop and fizz of lead single “Move”, it's an album that skillfully updates the bangers-and-ballads template of their debut, DNA, taking in futuristic Afrobeat on the MNEK-produced “Nothing Feels Like You”, Timbaland-esque a cappella minimalism on “Boy” and silken harmonies on its many softer moments. Side-stepping the difficult second album pitfalls, Salute is confidence personified.
