Out of My Hands is the fifth solo album by a-ha frontman Morten Harket, released in April 2012 on Island and mainly produced by Steve Osborne, who had already worked on a-ha's last studio album Foot of the Mountain in 2009. Recorded in Norway, Sweden, and England (in Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios), the synth pop/rock album features the two singles "Lightning" and "Scared of Heights" (a cover of Espen Lind's 2008 song). Out of My Hands charted at number one in Norway and entered the German album charts at number three.
