Album Review

The Best of the Big Bands, Vol. 2 contains Les & Larry Elgart's solid versions of such traditional pop and swing favorites as "Sophisticated Swing," "Weasel Pops Off," "Geromino," "Sophisticated Lady," "Big Man on Campus," "My Heart Belongs to Daddy" and "Zing! Went the Strings of My Heart." Serious swing and jazz fans will want to stick to their Duke, Basie, Goodman and Sinatra, but nostalgic fans of the big-band era will enjoy this collection.
