iTunes Review

The iconic boyband make their transition to manhood with some premium pop. One Robbie down, and eleven years on from breaking millions of teenage hearts, Beautiful World more than puts things right. The brooding “Patience”—Gary Barlow’s stately ode to taking it slow—showcases their new brand of mature pop, "Shine" is Mark Owen’s light-filled moment in the sun and completely irresistible, while the dreamy love story "I'd Wait For Life" pulls from ‘70s soft rock.

I cant believe it!

Never in my entire life would I have ever have considered paying money for anything Take That related, in fact if you had told me 12 months ago that I was going to on the 2nd of February of this year but download it, first of all I would have punched you and then after getting physically sick, thrown myself off the nearest cliff, BUT, here I am about 6 songs into downloading, after spending half and hour pondering the impossible, considering redecorating my toilet bowl, I have to admit, this is bloody good! Ok, I'm not going to lie to you you and say one son is better than the next, that simply isnt the case, fact is they are actually around about the same level, which is a good thing. NEVER consider this a rock though and make sure you turn your CD player down when you have to open your car window for any reason, more notably when you're asked for a breath test! Lose you inhibitions and open your mind, guys and I do mean GUYS, this is good! There, I said it.

take that album

I thoughIt take that would be still in the 90s. I was so wrong. This album in brill, everysong as good as the last. this cd is played so much in my car. cant get enough of it.

That Take....

Shine does it for me, awesome tune, Patience has great sound also and the rest of the album just seems more mature and more appealing to a wider audience, not just the teeny boppers anymore...

Formed: 1990

Genre: Pop

Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s

As the most popular teen pop sensation in Britain since the '60s, Take That ruled the U.K. charts during the first half of the '90s. In strict commercial terms, the band sold more records than any English act since the Beatles, though the cultural and musical importance was significantly less substantial. Conceived as a British answer to New Kids on the Block, Take That initially worked the same territory as their American counterparts, singing watered-down new jack R&B, urban soul, and mainstream...
