Album Review

Lee's first duet album with Nancy Sinatra is a classic of '60s pop. He plays the leering, deep-throated, trail-worn cowboy to her bright-eyed girl-child, and the match on songs like "Summer Wine," "Sand," "Jackson," and "Some Velvet Morning" is a smart, sexy, lip-smacking bowl of mind candy.

Customer Reviews

One of three great albums

This is the BEST of the three duet albums by Nancy & Lee. If you do not have the second & third get them NOW !!!!! Great music on all albums. If you are not sure about Lee Hazlewood get his recordings now. All his early songs are excellent and even after he moved to Sweden he wrote very good songs too. In my opinion, though, I believe that his best songs were from the early sixties/seventies.
