Album Review

Perhaps it seems that being a popular artist these days requires a contempt for everyone, but Shane Jackman doesn't buy that. After all, there's still plenty to talk about when your soul is at peace. This guitarist/vocalist brings unique images with his lyrical poetry. His messages are undiluted by rhyme schemes and undaunted by style guides. The album describes visions and dreams of one who traded in heavy touring schedules for family time and a local record contract. Ultimately, he seems satisfied with how life balances out.

Before long, Jackman's reputation as an insightful songwriter and engaging performer earned him gigs with artists like Michael Martin...
