Still disappointed
Hi to all. I am a blind user of this app, I use it for tuning my acoustic guitar and have found it to be absolutely brilliant because of the audio tone it gives you when you tune in the right note and cord
However, when I’ve had to re-install this app a few times due to resetting my phone, it is impossible as a blind user, to set up the app, as it is not accessible for VoiceOver, which reads what’s normally on the screen, for example, it might be asking you to accept user license agreement but just don’t know where to tap or just can’t get past that screen without the help of someone who I might not see for a couple of days. It would be great, if the developers of this app would make it user friendly to visually impaired people and more accessible for those people who may have some kind of disability
Apart from that, once I’ve had some assistance to get the app set up, all I have to do then is just open it and tune my guitar, very simple and great for me. Hopefully, the developers read this and possibly update the app to meet screen readers
Idea for a new tool.
I personally love this app, but I’ve one suggestion. I haven’t seen any other apps that do this, but a Scale guesser game. For example, the user can select “minor, major, blues, pentatonic” and then press start, and the app will fire random positions of those scales and then the user has to say whether it’s major, position 4 etc.
I think this would be a great idea and I would use this daily.
Good For Tuning
I find this app good for tuning my guitar, but one thing that is mildly annoying say if I’m playing my E string it will tell me it is in time for around 3secs, and then suddenly say that it is 150 too high. This happens every time but I can still tune my guitar with ease, just wanted to make sure people were aware of that and is that just my device/WiFi.
Overall, I would recommend it as it is easy to use and the games really helped me find my fingering on chords quicker.
