Don't Mess with Perfection!!

I am a total bookworm and I loved the iBook app....until the update came along today. It's purely aesthetic things and that made me sad - what's with the orange colour scheme? why has the red page marker been made smaller? why take away the choices of format for the books? And again what's with the orange colour scheme? The app worked perfectly but the changes seem to have been made just because someone "could" rather than they "should".

Highlighting

I love this app and use it everyday. The notes and highlighting are a reall plus for me as it use this for each book and publication I open in IBooks. I would love to have different coloured underlining though, not just the red line, the highlighting colours are great, although a bit darker that the original, which I preferred, please add different colour underlining, please please

If I could give this 0 stars, I would

The old iBooks was great. The design was nice to look at and easy to use at night. But I actively avoided the new update until I made a mistake and downloaded it by accident. You guys at apple have screwed up with these new "beautiful" designs. It's terrible. Not beautiful. Terrible. It's white and colourless and nothing works anymore. I'm tired of the sterile ugly look and want nothing more than for the old ios to be reinstated.
