Wherever you are on your filmmaking journey, LumaFusion meets you there. This multitrack video editor offers pros the features rarely found in an iPad app, all accessible through an intuitive touch interface that even beginners can get the hang of.
Best video editor
This is a full professional editor, used by mobile journalists for production quality work, and I found it from reading about their work.
I use Luma on the iPad to editing teaching videos for my university classes. I find it has more and better options than other editors, and works excellently on the iPad. I specifically got it to do picture-in-picture edits.
Most of my projects are under 10 minutes, rendering is fast enough for me.
It has far more features than I need for combining, titling, adjusting colours, cropping, adjusting speed, you name it, it does it.
I have no problem with the user interface: if you used photo or video editing tools on PCs, or reasonably complex games on mobile devices, you’ll be fine. If you’re one of those folks who complains about selecting text on the iPad, you may find it harder, but plug in you mouse!

Perfect but....
I really love your working environment but i would be glad about plugins for effects i got Luma FX too but not so much time - i wish third parties could develop like for Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro X once. iPad Pro and the new iPad Air customers are willing to pay, it would be nice if you can open up Luma Fusion or support migration and work together with existing providers of Final Cut Pro X. I try to figure out a business development team and would explain through action how important it is. Cause we are the paying apple not just device customer. Thanks that you exist.

Hello, if you are an existing Final Cut Pro user, we do offer an in-app purchase called FCPXML. This allows you to export your LumaFusion project to Final Cut Pro if you wish to finish your editing on a desktop. Please email us at support@luma-touch.com for more information. Thank you!
