App rejects password but website accepts!
Lots of problems on the Tesco Mobile network since the major network outage in November 2017. No communication from Tesco to inform customers about continuing network coverage issues. Tesco would probably find customers are very understanding when kept in the loop.
Now the Tesco mobile app is playing up by not accepting my login password. Is an App update on the way? Could Tesco do the decent thing and let us know what is going on? A regular email newsletter would be an excellent idea.
We are waiting for an update!

unable to log in to the App
I’m a Tesco mobile customer for over 4 years and I find the App insufficient as it always breaks down, last month till date I’ve been unable to log in through the App as it rejects my password but using same details I am able to log on through website. Something is wrong here , no one cares to fix it either. No support when needed. Lots of positives about the app but one negative out does all the positives. sorry Tesco , need to do better .

Hi, A fix for the password issue is currently being tested, expect deployment shortly.
Tesco mobile do not treat their customers with respect. They changed my deal from an inclusive deal to one which excludes text messages as part of my bundle. They told me I opted out of my bundle 4 months ago by responding to a text they sent me. I told them I would not have knowingly done that as it disadvantaged me. Result is I lost my credit I’d built up over 3 months €60 because they were charging me €0.20 per text which previously were always part of my bundle. Underhand sharp business practice - Avoid
