TG4 is the National Irish language Public Service TV Broadcaster, providing Irish language content to audiences in Ireland on all platforms and worldwide on our player.

This App allows you to view our channel LIVE or to catch up on content for 35 days after broadcast, subject to the rights agreements in place. A range of Boxsets are also available.

Nicely displayed but three functional problems I found;
1. Playback stops when you exit the app to resume viewing later meaning you can’t pick up where you left off and have to rewatch the ads again.
2. The search function could be better
3. Navigating through Discovery leads to a a seemingly endless loading screen
Still rubbish
Basically it works sometimes, not others. It also bugs you to turn on your location tracker for streaming. Plenty of other news & entertainment apps don’t require that. Why TG4 is different I don’t know.
