Even for an app that’s just a glorified web page, it’s still a weak offering. True, the latest version addresses crashes way less than before, however I still have instances where it gets stuck on “Loading...” and doesn’t go beyond that; you have to kill off the app and try again.
The worst feature is the so-called “Snap & Send” expense submission. The app limits you to a single image. Anyone who has ever submitted an expense claim knows that summary medical expense receipts are usually multiple-page documents, so it’s largely unusable. Not only that, but if you get your receipts as PDFs, the app has no way to import them. So you have to either print a PDF on paper (one page only!) then scan them into the VHI app, or do a screen-capture first. Again, if you have multiple-page receipts, you’re stuck. Half-baked.
Really easy to claim my expenses back. Addition of online doctor has really made this an essential app for me and my family as well. Online Doctor picked up after a few minutes and I got a full consult report by email after a few minutes. Very quick to load and easy to navigate. Very handy to see policy details at one glance and the key benefits piece is a nice touch as well
Would like to see some live chat added to discuss policy and claiming questions but the click to call works great too and I spoke to a customer rep in the correct department within a few seconds who was very helpful.
Overall a great addition that gives me what I need to get tasks done quickly and means that I get my medical expenses back into my account within days

Online doctor and snap and send a life saver
Have used online doctor a few times for myself and kids, get access to a doctor within 10 mins and prescriptions faxed to local pharmacy within the hour. Snap and send so easy to use and great to keep record of all receipts submitted. Also just bought multitrip online and was amazed to see details through the app instantly .
