Curtis Peoples

About Curtis Peoples

Songwriter Curtis Peoples meshes acoustic folk with classic rock touches, a mix he calls "coffee shop arena rock," and his sharp pop writing skills have earned him critical kudos. A native of San Diego, he relocated to L.A. in 2005 and quickly established himself on the acoustic circuit there, touring with Tyler Hilton, among others, and releasing Whisper to a Scream that same year. Producer Marshall Altman caught one of his live shows and signed on to produce Peoples' debut full-length, the self-titled Curtis Peoples, which appeared in 2008. The Fight followed in 2013, featuring songs co-written and produced by Mike Busbee. The Fight included the singles "Afraid" and "Made for Me (Forever)." ~ Steve Leggett
