In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Our first rehearsal sticks vividly in mind. Sinclair and Danny had worked out some rhythm and vocals, Tommi and Jon came along to jam and things clicked instantly with the first run through of the first song. It was the first time the four of us met. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kool & The Gang, Wild and Peaceful Loleatta Holloway, Love Sensation Prince, Prince Each of these albums contain songs that drive the influence of our sound - our shared love of groove, disco and funk. Tell us why you chose this song. “Hold It Down” Initially, the instrumental felt so good we were going to leave it at that. Then the hooks started flowing and the song took on a life of its own. The funk came to life for us and the track became our most successful. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening the stages for Stevie Wonder, at British Summer Time Hyde Park. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Top of our bucket list is a collaboration with Nile Rogers and a live performance at Glastonbury!
