At home in both denim and leather, punishing Philly-based hard rock trio Hound have a knack for pairing greasy stoner rock with NWOBHM-inspired proto-metal. Hound's bluesy swagger, relentless riffage, and raw power invoke Groundhogs, Motörhead, and Black Sabbath. Founded in 2013 by frontman, guitarist, and visual artist Perry Shall, the band has utilized a rotating cast of players over the years, including bass players Mike Klein and Pat Hickey and drummers Chris Wilson (Ted Leo & the Pharmacists) and Brendan Graham. Hound issued their debut long-player, Out of Time, in 2014, followed closely by their sophomore effort, Out of Space, in 2015.
