Kyle Cease

About Kyle Cease

An irreverent, quirky standup comedian from Seattle, Kyle Cease began headlining comedy clubs at 18, making him one of the youngest headliners in America. Performing in front of his classmates since the age of seven helped him gain the confidence he needed, but it was his sharp, sometimes bizarre material and lively delivery that had club owners willing to take such a risk on a young main attraction. By 21 he was touring nationally and had landed his first acting gig, playing the memorable Bogey Lowenstein in the hit film 10 Things I Hate About You. The film's success influenced Cease to make the move to Los Angeles, where he would work the local standup scene hard, catching the eye of the Comedy Central cable network along the way. After appearing in the 2001 film Not Another Teen Movie, he made his Comedy Central debut on the network's standup revue series Premium Blend. In 2006 he landed his own special on the network, Comedy Central Presents: Kyle Cease, and released his first album, One Dimple, on Comedy Central Records. I Highly Recommend This, both the Comedy Central special and the accompanying album release, followed in 2012. ~ David Jeffries
