L. Dizzur, known more commonly as L.D., is an independent Southern rapper, singer, and engineer who cites the likes of Lil Wayne and the Notorious B.I.G. as inspirations. Originally from Tampa, Florida, he eventually based himself out of Atlanta, Georgia for the sake of advancing his career and established the #NoLogo label. After a handful of early-2010s mixtapes, L.D. branched out with a few singles issued across 2016, then in 2017 issued The Crossover EP, a varied eight-track set with a title reflective of its commercial and sometimes pop-oriented approach to contemporary rap. Toward the end of the year, the EP reached the Top Ten of Billboard's national Heatseeker Albums chart for upcoming artists. ~ Andy Kellman
