In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 16 my dad got me a guitar for my birthday and he taught me how to play “Just A Closer Walk With Thee”. I knew something felt right when I picked up the guitar. Little did I know it would be the start of my music career. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Blake Shelton, Red River Blue Bonus Tracks Edition HARDY, the mockingbird & THE CROW Jake Owen, Days of Gold Love "The Mockingbird & The Crow." It's a musical journey from rock to country. "Red River Blue" is just undeniably amazing. I wore this one out. "Days Of Gold" got me through a ton of road trips. Tell us why you chose this song. “Godsend” I wrote that about my wife. It’s a true story. She was standing in the kitchen one day, and I just looked at her, thinking about how she was such a Godsend in my life, and that’s when the title hit me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I’d say the most memorable moment was getting to open for Tim McGraw for my 21st birthday in Iowa. I had never played for so many people in my life. It is a memory I think about often. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have a ton left to do on my bucket list, but my dream is to play the Grand Ole Opry and perform live on national television like Good Morning America, The Today Show, and Jimmy Fallon. Would also love to go on tour with Tim McGraw one day.
