In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was 7 years old and loved to drum. My parents had an old fashioned hard-leather luggage. I used to ride it like a horse, use my feet to make the kick sound, sticks to beat the top of the luggage as snare and toms. That was the start of my drumming. Deep Purple, Deep Purple In Rock Deep Purple in Rock is the album I learned playing drum to. I played it everyday and drove our neighbors nuts. I ended the relationship after 5 years, but damage had been done to my sons, their schooling & my career.
