Austin, Texas quartet She Sir formed when vocalist/guitarist Russell Karloff and vocalist/bassist Matthew Grusha met during the early 2000s. Both were students of music composition and used their acquired knowledge gained in the classroom in the real world of dream pop and shoegaze. Working with a variety of other musicians, She Sir released the Who Can't Say Yes EP in 2006, followed by the Yens EP in 2010. That same year the Japanese label Happy Prince released a compilation called Ev'ry Thing in Paris. These recordings caught the ear of Shelflife, and in 2014, the band released its first album, Go Guitars. In the lineup for the album's recording were drummer David Nathan and guitarist Jeremy Cantrell. ~ Tim Sendra
