Slaprocket was a stoner rock supergroup formed in 1994 by vocalist/guitarist Shane Green (of Nudeswirl), guitarist Tommy Southard (ex-Godspeed, later Solace), vocalist/bassist Chris Kosnik (also ex-Godspeed, future Atomic Bitchwax), and drummer Keith Ackerman (also future Bitchwax) that existed for about two years and committed several professional recordings to tape. Unfortunately, the bandmembers went their separate ways before an album could be assembled, and none of this material would see official release until years later, partly within the MeteorCity box set And Back to Earth Again. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
