Introduction Children's drawings have long been utilized to assess personality traits and psychological disorders of children (Sayil, 2004; Brown & Pipe, 2007; Bonoti & Metallidou, 2010). Some studies on plastic arts and human psychology aim to detect direct links between these two domains (Kellog, 1970). A significant change occurs in a child's artistic activities in parallel with his/her physical and mental development. There are five periods of development in children's drawings (Samurcay, 1975):
