If God Were a Space Alien: A Different Kind of Atheism

A Different Kind of Atheism

This book can be downloaded and read in iBooks on your Mac or iOS device.

Description

This short book presents a variety of thought experiments designed to expose people to some rational ways of thinking about their god or gods. An attempt to distinguish a visit from god from a visit by space aliens is just a light-hearted introduction to more serious material. The underlying theme is that whatever way you have of knowing about god is evidence, and can be explored as such.

Customer Reviews

Good, easy read

Good easy read. Fun and interesting analogies and smooth writing made this book easy to read. Philosophically it challenged ideas of God in a fun and intriguing way. I look forward to further works where maybe debunking of God delves deeper into the science behind the debunking. Overall I really enjoyed this and was surprised how well written and complete it was for a free ebook.
