Jason & the Golden Fleece is the second book in the Early Myths collection, a series of children's picture books about Greek myth. Each book tells the tale of a character from mythology and brings the story to life through the inspiration from art and literature. The books are aimed at 4 to 10 year olds and contain multimedia features such as sounds, narrator audio and slideshows. The books are beautifully illustrated, easy to read or listen to. <p>
The story of Jason tells one of the oldest stories from Greek myth. Our hero tries to win back the throne, stolen from his father, but is challenged to a great adventure to prove his skills. He gathers to greatest of the heroes and sails to the edges of the world to win the fabled Fleece. He returns to Greece with princess Medea to claim his prize but faces many obstacles along the way.

Stunning artwork, great story!
This is a clever little book with colorful pictures and a fascinating story. The book actually works for adults. I read it first and then read it to my nephew. Different ages will get different things from this book.
The audio is fun too- nice touch.
Series going from strength to strength!
Delighted to see the next in the Early Myth series and love the telling of Jason and the Golden Fleece. The pictures are fantastic - my kids keep asking me to print them out so they can hang them on their walls. It's a fabulous tale - lots going on to fire their imaginations and the audio buttons to help with pronunciation of the character names gets them involved from the very start. Hope the series keeps going because we're hooked on Greek myths in our house now!
Excellent read for children
This makes a wonderful book for reading to my daughter. Makes these old tales accessible to a young early reader v
