Everyone should watch this..
.....especially in the US! The world would be a much better place if everyone had access to this kind of news analysis. Fascinatingly intelligent and relevant guest speakers, some of the best thinkers in the world are regulars on the show. Plain speaking, relaxed and professional presentation, without the stress making high drama of most news bulletins. Almost 10 years in the running, Amy Goodman and her team are a guiding light. Refreshing, informative and nutritious.
The best news program in existence
I completely agree. It's sad, but this is one of the only unbiased sources for intelligent, analytical news anywhere. If anyone knows of any other source as fair and intelligent as this, please spread the word!
Amy Goodman and her crew are amazing, really holding true to that slogan "by the the people, for the people." This program does have a slant, but it's slant is not towards a political standpoint but a humanist one. Fascinating interviews without all of the contrived shouting and arguing. It's a program which trusts that its watchers do not suffer from ADD and can actually pay attention for longer than five minutes, and offers insightful, valuable viewpoints on the world's most troubling issues, adhering to no corporation or government.
Thank you, Democracy Now!
