Slate's Culture Gabfest rocks...!

Entertaining weekly discussions from high to lowbrow, focusing on US movies, arts, magazine articles that seek to capture the zeitgeist, music, internet memes, social memes etc. Three contributors (with guests from time to time), three topics and then endorsements from the contributors at the end - that is a recommendation of the week - a book, tv show, piece of music, make of socks, thing to do.. a very eclectic mix. Like hanging out with some very well read friends who are great at expressing their opinions. Thanks for all the listening enjoyment.

I have been listening to this podcast for several years now. My enthusiasm for it never wanes. In fact I get more and more fond of its eclectic mix of topics, its opinionated and well-informed reviewers, and the good natured collegiality which they manage to communicate. I live in Ireland, yet it translates across the Atlantic and I always hear something both interesting and relevant. One of my favourite podcasts - long may it continue.
