Our return episode is "Meld", from the second season of Star Trek Voyager. I can't tell you how long HeyMickey has been pushing to do a podcast about this episode. But is an episode about a serial killer Betazoid and his special relationship with Tuvok really that good?

Don't call it a comeback. Because it isn't. This week, ExVee, HeyMickey, Melllvarr, and Moloth return to take a special look at the very first episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. And if you can say one thing about "Encounter at Farpoint," it's that it certainly was the first episode of TNG. It's a shame we didn't brush up on some of the production background of the episode before recording, as that would really have shed some light on some of the issues we raised as we went through.
