Just came across the podcast this morning - so grateful to have found it! Very reassuring and calming! Love the relaxed vibe. Keep up the great work, ye are wonderful 😊
So so good.
I always think there’s one podcast that will get you hooked to podcasts & this one will be that to us twenty-something year olds. Everything a great podcast needs, great theme song, flowing chat, perfect amount of curse words & relatable content. So so good!
Like having a DMC with your pals
You know after a day of gentle day drinking, when you’re at outside Grogans with your pals and someone starts up a deep & meaningful. “I’m only pretending to be chill for the girl I’m seeing”, says one, then another chimes in “I write angry texts when pals bail on me, I’m a chill free zone” then another pipes up “pals, I even pretend to be chill at work and I’m a grown up!” And at every turn you’re like “OMG that’s meee!!”
That’s what State of Us is like, and after every episode your left with the same feeling of being cheered by the knowledge we’re all in the same boat and you feel like you’ve had a deadly catch up with your pals.
