Description

Celebrating a way of life that encompasses compassion for everyone and emphasizing the fact that being vegan is a means rather than an end in itself, the Food for Thought podcast addresses all aspects of eating and living compassionately and healthfully. Each episode addresses commonly asked questions about being vegan, including those regarding animal rights, food, cooking, eating, nutrition, and debunks the myths surrounding these issues. Drawing upon poetry, short stories, and other forms of literature, this is a unique podcast that leaves listeners feeling inspired, empowered, and motivated to live according to their values of compassion and wellness. Hosted by vegan author and expert Colleen Patrick-Goudreau, who has sparked a movement of self-professed "joyful vegans."

Customer Reviews

Veggies conquer the world!

This is a great source of information on all aspects of vegetarianism, including health, responses to common "anti-veggie" arguments, personal stories, recipes... Not only will this help vegetarians and vegans to feel less alone and targeted (I know I did), this podcast has the potential to change the mind of the people who currently eat meat and animal products. Bravo Colleen!
