By the release of his fourth solo album Lev Hofshi, Mooki had made the extraordinary transition from bad boy frontman of legendary hip-hop group Shabak Samech to wholesome pop-rock icon. An ode to his child, “Yeled Shel Aba”, became one of his biggest hits, while title track “Lev Hofshi” is equally beloved—no small feat considering his extensive discography.
